Tax Lien Data Mining Project

Retrieved personal and professional property information from a county GIS website and merged into an Excel spreadsheet. Project start to finish in under one month. Two weeks from start of coding to completion. Four enhancement iterations.

Screen Shots to Web Pages Project

Customer provided several screenshots of their website generated using a proprietary toolset for which HTML was not even permissible for reuse. Recreated complete web site using standard web technologies.

National Dealership System

Multi-nation system for a top auto manufacturer's dealerships to access timely vehicle information, history, as well as work with national repair experts to cooperatively troubleshoot troublesome automotive problems.

Dynamic Web Site from Policy Rules System

Leveraged an existing rules system to dynamically generate web forms allowing property insurance analysts to maintain only the policy-writing rules but to automatically build out browser-based validation for quick policy pre-approval and server-side validation including access to external validation sources. Generated HTML and JavaScript editable in FrontPage or other HTML editors. Synchronizable with changes to the rules system. Microsoft (ASP) and Java (JSP,J2EE) server side functionality.

Software to convert SVG files to JPEG files.

Health Insurance Claims Transaction System

J2EE system with thick client and Web Page interfaces for claims checks, eligibiliy checks, claims filing, electronic remittance advice, and other healthcare claims transactions. Implemented NFS 1.2 and 1.2, HIPAA ANSI 12 EDI, and proprietary data formats. Integrated with over 120 health insurance companies through XML, Web forms, PDF forms, and dailup. Support for over 6000 doctor offices and hospitals throughout the company's installed client base. Integrated with two leading physician's management systems (PMS's).

Benchmarked and tuned for performance equivalent or better than Microsoft's Internet Information Server for database-stored data.

Designed a delegate layer in SmallTalk for a telephony API and ported from OS/2 to Windows NT.

Custom User Interface Controls
Grid control based on the MFC’s ClistCtrl, a Hierarchical tree control based on the MFC’s CtreeCtrl. Also developed a custom Combobox control based on the above custom controls. Various other controls were developed which implemented client’s custom GUI.

Definition and initial market survey for ASP services including web hosting, remote applciations, email hosting, centralized printing and other services. Completed business definition and requirements and licenses study and arranged initial partnering relationships.

Graphics Display and Image Manipulation
Developed the slide show portion of consumer software bundled with every unit sold. Developed various other areas of the application for masking bitmaps using polygons, and Bezier curves, printing and generating overviews. Telephone Conferencing Software

Developed digital audio conferencing application to support 24 to 96 T1 connections in a chassis. Created an analog/T1 audio conferencing bridge. Created an application using T.120 protocol stack to send and receive text data over a PSTN connection during a conference call.
